PACKAGING & ENVIRONMENT FAQ

Honest answers,
in plain language.

The questions our customers ask most often about materials, recyclability, compostability and certifications — answered without overclaiming.

Materials & end-of-life

Many of our packaging solutions are designed with recyclability in mind. However, recyclability depends on local recycling systems and the specific material structure — for example, paper with lining or coatings may behave differently from mono-material paperboard.

Compostable options are available for selected applications. Please note that compostability depends on local processing conditions and facilities, which may vary by region.

Recyclable packaging is processed through recycling systems to be reused as raw materials. Compostable packaging is designed to break down under specific composting conditions, usually in industrial facilities.

Certifications & claims

FSC® certified options are available for selected products, supporting responsible sourcing of paper materials. Certification can be provided where applicable.

We focus on providing more responsible material options and practical solutions, rather than making broad environmental claims. The most suitable option depends on the product use, performance requirements and local waste-management systems.

Impact & documentation

We support customers by offering material alternatives, optimised packaging design and efficient production approaches to help reduce unnecessary waste.

Relevant documentation, including material specifications and compliance information, can be provided based on product and customer requirements.

Choosing the right option

The best solution depends on your product, usage scenario and local regulations. We can support you in selecting suitable materials and options based on your requirements.
